Walking Weather is Almost Back

I think a walk over to the local Nature Center would be a nice idea if the weather gets better later this week.

Cold Snow, Warm Candlelight

The recent blizzard here dropped 24 inches of wind-blown snow. We lost power for a while and lit the candles seen in this pastel, "Candlelight". The wet weather this week has reduced the snow but it's still beautiful as we begin Lent tomorrow. Happy Fat Tuesday everyone!

Art brings nature indoors

landscape pastel of a forest and flowers
Taking a walk to enjoy nature is a great way to relax and lower stress. But if you can't get outside that much or the weather is too bad to do it, then think about how a landscape on your wall can bring you there year-round!
